The newest and most stylish hotel in Qatar needed a film that spoke to the world they have created. A world of fantasy, surrealism and wanderlust. Designed by world renowned Marcel Wanders, the building, furnishing and décor have a life and pulse of their own.
Mondrian Doha is not just a hotel, it’s an experience. It’s where luxury, design and entertainment collide. From surreal tea parties and flower crowned nymphs to horses and gazelles roaming free in the ballroom and hallways; this film is an adventure at every turn

Out in the beautiful quiet of the desert, a man teaches his young sons how to track and hunt. Frustration leads to an apparently harmless struggle between the two brothers – but their carelessness brings about sudden disaster. Qatari filmmaker A.J. Al Thani’s film strikes just the right balance of calm and calamity, adolescence and adulthood, knowhow and panic to tell a seemingly simple story with a sense of gravity that will echo with anyone who has seen an innocent plan go horribly wrong.
This short film went on to screen at over a dozen international film festivals.
